Neal Barnett

Neal Barnett, passed away on November 29, 2017. Mr. Barnett was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the years of the Korean War, and was stationed in Germany as a member of the first NATO security force. He was an avid hunter in his younger years and enjoyed traveling with his wife of 64 years, Rosemarie to a variety of European locations, including their favorite, Germany. Mr. Barnett was also a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Mr. Barnett retired from Sears after 40 years of service.

Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife Rosemarie and their children, Yvonne (Barnett) Denton, and Mitchell Barnett (Lisa), and Grandchildren Jesse (Denton) Filer, Alex Barnett and Hailey Barnett, and great grand-daughter Kennedy Filer.

As the oldest of 10 children, Neal is survived also by Holland Barnett (Faye) of Whitwell, TN; Richard Barnett (Nancy) of Galesburg, MI; Don Barnett of Sequatchie, TN; Reba (Barnett) Reed of Cordova, TN and Delores (Barnett) Massey of South Pittsburg, TN.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday December 1, 2017, from 4-7 pm at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 11:30 am at Christ the King Catholic Church.
