Michael Andrew Nugent, age 28, passed away January 2nd after a long battle with addiction. Michael is survived by his son, Callen; his parents, Helen and Kevin Nugent; his brother, Alex; his grandmother, Mary Louise Nugent and a large extended family.
Michael was born in Hilton Head Island, SC, lived in Sarasota, FL, Atlanta, GA and most recently Nashville. He graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School, Sarasota and was a student at Lipscomb University. He was also a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan. His most recent professional work was at The Ranch, an Inpatient Facility addressing addiction and recovery.
A visitation and brief service will be held on Friday, January 5th, 11:00 a.m., at the Marshall, Donnelly Combs Funeral Home, Nashville. Family and friends are invited to a lunch following the service which will be announced. A burial ceremony will occur at a later date, Six Oaks Cemetery, Hilton Head Island, SC.
