Melissa Ann Wall was born on November 17, 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee. Her parents were Roberta and Nathan Wall. She and her brother Donald Wall lived in the Bordeaux community, with their parents most of their early years.
She attended Bordeaux Elementary School in the Metro School System and Goodpasture Christian High School in Madison. She was a member of Bordeaux United Methodist Church and later became a member of City Road chapel U. M.W. Church.
She married and had one child Dorothy Frances Clouse, who died at birth. Melissa worked with her father in his real estate business. She became a very talented and gifted businesswoman.
For a period of time, she worked with The Wounded Warriors service men program. She was certified to teach scuba diving. She always enjoyed her work diving with them. Melissa was an advocate for animals.
She is survived by her three pets, Roo, Rasta, and Marley.
Melissa is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Margaret; her nieces Melinda and Todd Neal, Jennifer Wall and John Stewart; one nephew, Mike Wall and Randi; great-nephews Nathan Neal and Kate Lambrecht, Hayden Neal and Katerina Neal, Tristan Wall; great nieces Maggie & Charlie Gavaghan; great, great nephew, Jack Gavaghan and great niece Abigail Wall; Step-mother Patricia Wall; cousin Tim and Tracey Coats.
There were many friends, family, and caregivers who were with her during her illness. The family is so thankful for those people. Our love will always be with you.
