passed away on September 6, 2019 in White House, TN. She was proceeded in death by the
love of her life, Hoy "Ho Ho" Kelley whom she met in Ohio in 1951 and married in 1952. Hoy and
Jimmie packed up their worldly possessions in 1954, traveled in a jeep along Route 66, camping
out along the way, to "settle" in the wild wild west of Arizona where they lived at for over 54
years.
Momma Jim/Grandma Jimmie was known and loved by many. She never met a stranger, she
gave away everything she ever owned, and had an charismatic spirit that can not be forgotten!
Jimmie spent her entire life giving to others: she operated an elderly boarding home in Tucson,
AZ for over 20 years and provided much love and attention to several elderly ladies and then
spent another 20 plus years in private duty, touching the hearts of many with her adventurous,
outgoing, yet caring spirit. In addition, she opened up her home to many people over the years,
providing them with the love and support they needed during their difficult times.
Although the odds were never in her favor, she never gave up on her dream of winning the lottery
and promising people what she would do for them or give them, if she were to win...
She is also proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Tennie Clements Reynolds of
Alamo, TN, siblings, Maurice, Margarette "Peggy", Robert, and Dorthy "Dottie", daughter Linda,
grandchildren Steven and J.J. and great grandchildren Chance and Aiden.
She is survived by her "baby doll" Kelleyshawn Brown (Andrew) and their children (Granny's
babies): Nolan, Adison, Nelson and Alanna, their grandchildren, Ryder, River and Arabella Brown,
her niece who she was very close to, Karen Goins (Billy) and their family whom she loved very
much, her children Helen (Freddie) and Art, her grandchildren Deanna, Angela, Michael, Loni,
Matthew, Lezli, and Lenzli. 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Several
nieces, nephews, great-neices and great-nephews.
Overall, Jimmie had a total of 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3
great-great grandchildren.
Furthermore, Jimmie had a deep love for her brother and sister in-laws, who her and Hoy loved
like their own children, Betty, Ronnie, Nina, Carol, Don, Dee, Mary, Mona and Larry. She also loved:
her special friends from the 10-9ers group who her and Hoy made many memories with, her
dear friend Maude (Bob) Thomas and their family who she cherished deeply, Alan and Sandy
Larson, and many, many, more special people whom she made friends with, took in or took care
of over the years.
She will be remembered and missed by many, especially her "baby doll" who will be forever
greatful she took her in, sacrificed much for her, loved her unconditionally, and became her best
friend.
I am forever greatful to you and Grandpa for loving me so much and for all our great memories
together... I will miss you Grandma-every single day for the rest of my life. As hard as it is to
be without you, I am greatful you are no longer suffering, you are with God, and that you and
Grandpa are together once again.
All my love,
Your baby doll forever,
Kelleyshawn
The family would like to thank the staff at White House Healthcare for taking such great care
