Mrs. Snyder was born in Nashville, TN, on January 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Robert Allen. She retired from South Central Bell after many years of service. Mrs. Snyder attended Grace Place Church. She will be remembered for her unique outgoing personality and was most passionate about her family. Mrs. Snyder was preceded in death by her husband, William Sheffield Snyder and a sister, Polly Shepard.
Survivors include her three sons, Jim (Judy) Snyder, Owen (Karen) Snyder, and Robby (Martha) Snyder; a daughter, Tina (Troy) Carver; eight grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 27, 2017, at ten o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Sunday from three o’clock until six o’clock and Monday from nine o’clock until the funeral hour at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
