Matthew Spencer Heslep, 37 of Mammoth Lakes, CA passed away on Sunday, November 10th, 2024, in San Diego, CA. Matthew was born April 30th, 1987, in New Martinsville, WV to Timothy and Lisa Heslep. Matthew was preceded in death by his mother Lisa and brother Jesse and material grandmother Wanda Owens and Uncle Terry Spencer. Matthew is survived by his father Timothy Heslep, The Heslep family, and The Spencer family. Matthew enjoyed history and music. Matthew played the drums and guitar, playing in a band called Smoke House Road in Nashville, TN. Matthew was a graduate of Middle State Tennessee University in Murfreesboro, TN with a degree in political science, minoring in international relations. Matthew was known for his beautiful smile and outgoing personability. Matthew will be missed by his family and many friends across the county.
A Receiving of Family & Friends for Matthew will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, following will be a graveside service 3:00 PM.
