Jenkins, Mary Louise Gatlin – 87 years old of Nashville passed away August 21, 2010. She was born July 10 1923 in Nashville to the late James and Carrie Margaret DeBusk Gatlin. Mrs. Jenkins is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence D. Jenkins. Survived by her daughters, Cindy J. Reese and Lisa J. (Cameron) Shearer; grandsons, Mick (Amber) Reese, Chris Reese and Alex Shearer; great-grandson, Elliot Reese. Mrs. Jenkins was employed at Graces Inc. and a member of First Lutheran Church. Special thanks to the Gardens at Providence, Odyssey Hospice and all the loving caregivers who took such wonderful care of Mary in the last few years. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gardens at Providence, 1020 Charlie Daniels Pwy, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. Visitation with the family will be from 4-8 pm this evening and from 9am until service time tomorrow at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
