Mary Geraldine Cartwright

Our beloved Mother and Grandmother left this world on Saturday, April 2nd to be with her Heavenly Father. Jerri as she was known, loved her family, and loved to cook and garden. Her love of Christmas Decorating won her awards and most of all she loved traveling and camping.

Jerri went to TPS from 1947-1955 where she excelled to become Class Valedictorian. While at TPS she won the title of Miss TPS and was secretary of the Senior Class. She was also a member of many clubs. She was employed at the Goober Chocolate company in Nashville where she would meet her beloved Bill. Later she would work at Service Merchandise. Jerri was a wonderful friend to all those who knew her, and will be sorely missed. She was truly the World's Best Mother.

Sisters; Pat (Eugene) Hunley, Frieda(Larry) Bridges and Virginia Reed Bailey.

She is survived by:

Brother; Raymond Reed of Pennsylvania

Son; Michael Wayne (Teresa) Cartwright of Nashville

Daughter; Karen Cartwright Foster

Grandson; Adam Cartwright of Nashville

Granddaughter; Amanda Cartwright Verlie(Rob)of Charleston SC, and her first great grandchild will be due very soon.

Kim Westmoreland and Pam Ward (Daughters more than Nieces)

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mary will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, a visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
