Martha Ann Cartwright Wise, age 86 passed away on March 30, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alexander Wise. Mrs. Wise is survived by her daughter, Leigh Anne Wise (Thomas Slater) and a grand-dog, Otis and several nephews and nieces and cousins. Mrs. Wise began her career at Holley Carburetor, then Commerce Union Bank Downtown. She was a pharmacy Tech at Bradshaw Drugs and CVS Pharmacy and also a saleswoman at Levy’s Department Store. She was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church, and was an avid animal lover especially her grand-dog Otis. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday April 9, 2017 from 1-2 pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2pm at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Nashville Humane Society.
