Margaret Bolling Henderson

Margaret Bolling Henderson of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully on July 30, 2018. Margaret was born on November 24, 1931 in Nashville, TN to the late Allene Arnold Bolling and Richard Edward Bolling, Jr. She is survived by five children, Pam Johnson (Wayne) of Tallahassee, FL, Patricia Smith (Mike Sease) of York, PA, Robert Henderson, Jr. (Ann) of Shunk, PA, Rich Henderson (Cynthia) of Nashville, TN, Amy Whipple (Karl) of N. Conway, NH; thirteen grandchildren, Rebecca Waite (Jon), Kevin Johnson, Katie Hill (Spencer), Megan Smith, Anderson Smith, Emily Smith, Lindley Economides (Zikos), Douglas Charlton (Autumn), Turner Henderson, Margot Henderson, Mike Whipple, Will Whipple and Andrew Whipple; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Phillip Henderson and grandson, Thomas Charlton.

Margaret was born in Nashville, TN and attended Ward-Belmont and Vanderbilt University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She was a beloved and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was active in her community including The Haven in Melbourne, FL and Care Bears in Palm Coast, FL.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, August 3rd with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Marshall, Donnelly, Combs. A private burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
