PATTERSON, MAJOR HUGH "Pat" - Age 93, of Nashville, passed away on the 23rd of June 2013. Born on the 30th of January 1920 to the late Samuel and Lillie Beasley Patterson in Murfreesboro, TN. He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Helen Gooch Patterson; their son, Bill and his wife Joan Patterson and their daughter, Patricia Hackney, and grandson, Chris Hackney. He is survived by his four grandchildren, Keith Patterson, Tracey Patterson Walters, Scott Hackney, and Rick Stillings; and eight great-grandchildren. Retired Industrial Engineer from Wright Industries and an accomplished wood craftsman. Active member of Antioch United Methodist Church and its choir. Member of John B. Garrett Masonic Lodge. A Celebration of Life service will be held at ten o'clock in the morning on Thursday, the 27th of June 2013 at Antioch United Methodist Church, 41 Tusculum Rd., Antioch, TN. The family cordially invites friends to gather with them for a time of remembrance and visitation at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home this evening from six o'clock until eight o'clock, and again on Thursday morning at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the "Van Fund" at Antioch United Methodist Church.
