Laura M. McGee Pewitt age 93, passed away on April 8, 2013 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by husband, Harold (Jack) Pewitt, Sr., parents, Thomas O’Neal McGee and Ethel Johnson McGee Anderson; brothers, Richard, Thomas and Edward McGee; sister, Louise Anderson Waggoner; survived by children, Judy (Bill) P. Vecchione, Nancy (Joe) P. Cathey and William Harold (Bill) Pewitt, Jr. (Brenda); grandchildren, Melanie Townsend, Jason (Mary Ann) Pewitt, Laurie Cathey, Jennifer Cathey (Jimmy) Campbell, H. Joe (Tara) Cathey, Jr. and Taylor Burnett; great-grandchildren, Jack Hooven, Mallie Hooven, Caroline Hooven, Maggie Campbell, Nancy Ann Campbell, Will Pewitt and Lily Faith Pewitt; sister-in-law, Mary Pewitt Neal; nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, 1:00 at Donelson Heights United Methodist Church, 84 Fairway Drive, Nashville, TN with visitation Tuesday from 4 – 8 and 1 hour prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Donelson Heights United Methodist Church, Alive Hospice or TN Respite Coalition.
