June was a member of Haywood Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed attending the Joy Sunday School class. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, #144 where she served as Worthy Matron.
Preceded in death by her parents, Will C. and Merle Tipton Peavyhouse and sister, Judith Maddin.
Survived by devoted husband of 60 years, Elza A. Smith; nephew, Glenn (Sue) Ferguson; great niece, Emily Ferguson and brother-in-law, Bill Maddin.
Visitation will be held from one o' clock in the afternoon until two-thirty on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Woodlawn with Funeral Service to follow at two-thirty in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall.
