Joyce Edwards of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, Jan 8, 2017, on her birthday. She was 69. She was preceded in death by parents, James E. "Droopy" and Evelyn Edwards. She is survived by her brother, Jim Edwards and wife Barbara; dear friends, Trina and Charlotte Frierson, Cathy Harper, Koko Huggins, Kathy Keith, Helen Pace, and Ann Rice; devoted adopted nieces, Jan Bracamonte and Stacy Ristedt; 9 very special cousins; and beloved dog, Jake. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center and Alive Hospice for their excellent care and compassion. Family and friends will gather at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro, TN, on Wednesday for a graveside service at one o’clock in the afternoon, Trina Frierson officiating.
