MEALER, Sr., Jerry Wayne, age 68, of Madison, passed away June 27, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Donia Mealer; father, Burton Mealer; sister, Pat Binkley; special friend, Marty Boone. Jerry is survived by sons, Jerry Wayne Mealer, Jr., Ronald Lee (Rebecca) Mealer, Sr. and James Mitchell (Tina Lutzweit) Mealer; mother, Mittie Free; sisters, Sandy (Butch) Tinnin, Kay Anderson and Charolatte Lehew; brothers, Larry (Connie) Mealer; eight grandchildren; special friends, Richard Jones and Karen Wilson.
Mr. Mealer served his country in the United States Army.
A Celebration of Jerry's life will be held in the Rotunda at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 10:00 am, Friday, July 5th, 2013, with Military Honors. There will be visitation, from 7:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Eastland Funeral Home.
