Jerry Donald Johnson of Nashville, TN passed away April 1, 2016. Jerry served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Scottsboro Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Joyce Johnson Sr. and his in-laws, Sam & Etta Barnes.
He is survived by his wife of over 44 years, Shirley Barnes Johnson; daughters, Sherri Moore (Ricky) and Joy Langdon (Chad); son, Jason Johnson (Gina); brother, Frank Johnson; sister, Vicki Finney (Terry); aunt, Irene Brewster; grandchildren, Samantha, Rachel, James, Caroline, Caleb, Tanner, Abigail and Jason Jr.; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Ava and Cayden; a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12pm Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Eastland Funeral Home with Bro. John Temple officiating. Burial will follow in the Cowden Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm and Wednesday 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
