Jerry Reed Cantrell

Jerry Reed Cantrell, age 73, of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Jerry was born Monday, March 8, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reed Alvin and Athalene Margie Wright Cantrell and cousin, Anthony Adcock.

Jerry retired from Life and Casualty/American General Insurance and became a country farmer. A member of Martin Chapel General Baptist Church in Portland; he is survived by his wife of 53 years Beverly; sons Jackie and Jesse; grandchildren, Tristen, Catelyn and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Ezekiel and Joseph; extended family, Donna and Butch Heil, Grace Ray, Michelle and Carl Good, Michael and Leanne Busby, Karen and Allen Bowman, numerous nieces and nephews and special friend Josh Stafford.

A visitation for Jerry will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

A celebration of life will occur Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Howser officiating.

Jerry will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
