Jeff was a life-long friend. His high school picture is a perfect memory. I got to know Jeff well and we had many good times together, including some "good trouble". Like many of Jeff's close friends, we can all remember vividly the experiences we shared...in high school, college, and in our adult life. Some, certainly not me, remember grammar school together. Through the years, these memories have forged a tapestry and network of wonderful friends. Although we may have traveled in different orbits, Jeff's life and personality brought together countless people and experiences that have enriched us all throughout our lives. I am grateful for Jeff's life and his all inclusive friendship. Oftentimes we remember others for their achievements, I will remember Jeff for his kind and nurturing friendship. 

To Goldie, Max, Dvora, and all of Jeff's family, I wish to convey my heartfelt sympathy for your great loss.  His friends also will carry Jeff's memory in our heart, we will think of Jeff often, and remember him fondly.

Jeff....having you as a part of my life for so many years was just great. You were a true friend and the times we shared in Chattanooga and  after, were some of the best days of my life. 

I will  always remember you and I will stay in touch with Goldie, Max and Dvora for years to come.

One of the greatest legacies Jeff leaves us with is his love and  devotion to his wife and family. Together with Goldie, one of their goals was to raise their Dvora and Max to be loving and loyal to each other and to always show compassion for others.  As survivors of the Holocaust, Goldie's parents Ignatz and Dvora Slomovic, loved and appreciated Jeff as if he were their biological son. And Jeff's observance of his religion as influenced by Goldie's Orthodox upbringing, was something her parents cherished.  There was and continues to be a joy that is expressed in their laughter, no matter what they faced. There is not a moment in a day when you'd call that home, and even in the most dire of Jeff's struggles, he and his crew had something hilarious to say  and Jeff always managed to ask: "How are you doing?" They always made us feel better as we'd call to check on them. He went too soon and we will all miss Jeff Morris. We are thankful that Goldie, Max, Dvora and her incredible husband, also named Jeff, are here to comfort us as we try to comfort them with our memories of simply a: Mensch, Jeffie, Yeffin, Morris. I love you.

Sending much love to Goldie, Max and Dvora.  I always felt close to Jeff, we were both the reform outsiders who married into the family. I loved his ability to call it as he saw it,  his sense of humor, friendly, playful, down to earth...loved his family more than anything. I really enjoyed our chats when he was going through treatments and couldn't sleep.  Sam and I always looked up to both of you and loved being part of your family, your warm and open house and great food!! I will really miss you Jeff.
