Mitch obtained the rank of Eagle Scout Order of the Arrow. He graduated 4th in his class in 1985 from Franklin High School. Mitch earned his B.S. degree from Vanderbilt University in 1989. Mitch was also a disk jockey in college at WRVU 91.1FM playing oldies hits from 50's and 60's.
Mitch was always upbeat no matter the circumstances. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was a long time member of the Grassland Baptist Church in Franklin, Tennessee.
Those left to cherish his memory include: parents, James Gehrig & Barbara Jones Harris of Brentwood, Tennessee; Sister Melissa Ann Harris of Nashville, Tennessee and his aunt Dottie Jones, Laguna Woods, California.
Funeral Services will be held at ten o'clock in the morning on Monday, July 9, 2018 from Dignity Hall at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
