battling cancer for 4 years passed away in Nashville Tennessee at the age of 66.
He is preceded in death by his parents MorganWynn Huff and JoAnne Hoffstetter Hammett, uncle, Thomas Henney, aunt, Jaqueline Gaylord Anderson, and uncle, Sidney Woodruff Gaylord. Gregory is survived by his daughter, Madaleine Wynn Huff, his former wife Katarina Huff both of Boca Raton, Florida, sisters Lisa Wynn Eason, Nashville, Tennessee, Kelly Johnson Parker, Atlanta, Georgia, step-brothers Harry Sullivan and Larry Sullivan, eight nieces and nephews, aunt, Margery Henney, Bethesda, Maryland, and Andy Anderson, Houston, Texas.
Gregory was a loving man with a charming and magnetic personality. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. People were drawn to him
because he was so easy to be with. Gregory was a great conversationalist, able to understand and get along well with everyone. He just had a way of making you feel good. Gregory had a very successful run in the restaurant business, working for Houston’s Restaurants and PF Chang’s. He had finesse, and was diverse in his knowledge of food, management and decor. He was able to fine tune all three of these leading him to be instrumental in the success of these restaurants. He also had a fierce passion for golf and tennis.
Gregory was diagnosed with lung cancer and had surgery in 2014, and in February 2016 had surgery for brain cancer. He fought hard, never complaining, as was his nature. The last 2 years were very difficult for him, he had help from many people especially friends, but it was mostly his great friend Brett Massey
and his sister Kelly Johnson Parker who selflessly took care of him until his death. His family would like to thank the people in the Adelecia who reached out and supported Greg, as well as helped him in his times of need. I know this meant a lot to him, as it does to us. He is mourned by his loving circle of family, friends, and colleagues. His bright spirit will continue to sparkle in the eyes of his daughter Madaleine.
Services celebrating the life of Gregory (Sam) Wynn Huff will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019. The visitation will be held at St. George’s Episcopal Church @ 10:30 AM. The service will be held
afterward @ 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cumberland Heights or American Cancer Society.

shall you truly dance.” Kahlil Gibran
