I knew Frances for about 25 years. We shared a friendship and love of gardening and she always reminded me of my grandmother in so many ways.  So glad I was able to visit with her one last time this past fall.  Wonderful lady who will be missed.  

Frances was my neighbor for 30 years. She was always thinking of someone else. Baking  Lemon Bread, bringing flowers from her garden, or picking blueberries from the country  for you. She loved children, hers & others. She & I always went to our DAR meetings together. She loved to participate in all service projects but especially the women’s.  Her garden was her pride and joy. It provided her many hours of  enjoyment. Always trying a new flower or plant. She enjoyed looking at the birds from her kitchen window. Whitney would come each week and keep the yard looking wonderful. They had dinner afterwards which she always looked forward to. She was a great cook. Whenever my husband traveled, she would invite  me over for dinner.  It was so nice to have a wonderful meal with friends. She & Bob  were  always up on the latest news so the conversation was interesting. Steve was always jealous when he came home & I told him what the menu had been. Frances had a group of wonderful friends that would go to lunch every so often. I was lucky to be a part of this. I’ll never forget all those great times & excursions we took. She introduced me to one of my dearest friends today. I have Frances to be thankful for that. I miss Frances so much but I am so happy for the wonderful years I knew her and all the things she taught me throughout those years. Love you dear one. Know you are at peace. Love also to your dear children who you loved dearly. Sharon 

Frances, I have know for 49 years. She  was  one of my dear neighbors,  who I dearly loved.  We raised our family’s the same place and time in Cherokee park.   She was always interested in  what you and your family was doing.  A very sweet lady  who loved her children so very much.  Frances, I will really miss you and I want you to know I will always love you.  May you rest in peace

Frances has been a friend of our family for over 30 years. She was my mother’s in law, Della Nestor’s neighbor in Hohenwald, TN. What a delightful friend she was! Sometimes we would get together for coffee at Judy Mortimer’s house with Della, Judy and other neighbors and have great joy just chatting. 
My grandfathers started Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society, while at UT and my dad was an engineer. 
I also went to visit Frances in Nashville and we’d take each other out to eat. Frances generously supported our mission in Mexico for a few years back in the 90’s and early 2000’s. She was always interested in my husband’s and my ministers in patoring and in all Della’s children and mine. She also graciously allowed us to host out of town ministers and Bible school students who came through Hohenwald to minister.
We will never forget Frances’s beautiful smile and sweet demeanor. Della loved her, as did we all, and she will be deeply missed!
Our hearts are heavy for the family. We have heard about each one of you. Thank you for all your kindness and love for Frances. She loved you dearly. Vicky Rawdon, John Rawdon’s wife
