Elsie C.Beasley, age 89, passed away on Saturday, February 18th, 2012. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 5th 1922 to the late Edwin Franklin & Elsie (Hodd) Cady. Elsie was a devoted provider as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, working up until age 87. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Beasley, Sr. Survivors include, daughter, Teresa (Barry) Piggott; son, James "Jim" Beasley, Jr.; grandchildren, Mike Beasley, David Beasley & John Beasley; great-grandchildren, Connor & Landon Beasley; sister, Lucille Edwards and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, February, 21, 2012 at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall, with Rev. Arden Schlesinger Officiating, and Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, February, 20th at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
