Ellen Bosworth Anderson, 73, of Nashville died on March 18, 2019. She was born on May 28, 1945 to James Louie Bosworth and Lucille Nolen Bosworth in Nashville, Tn. She attended John Overton High School graduating in 1963. In 1971, she married William C. "Andy" Anderson and they raised two sons, Randy and James. He preceded her in death. She made her living as a hairdresser for 30 years working at The Patio Coiffure. Ellen was a die-hard Tennessee football fan, one of the best southern cooks around and an excellent party planner and party giver. She enjoyed watching high school football on Friday nights, especially when her son, nephew and grandson's teams were playing. Ellen was an animal lover of all species and has shared her home with many dogs, cats, chickens and anything else that needed a home over the years. She never met a stranger and once you met her, you never forgot her, she was one of a kind. She is survived by her two sons, Randy (Julie) of Philadelphia, PA, James (Jenny) of Pleasant View, TN, one brother, James (Sharon) Bosworth of Ashland City, TN, 3 grandchildren Matthew, Erin and Shiloh, 2 nephews Jimbo and Colin Bosworth and her beloved dogs Milo and Maxx. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 5pm-8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
