Eleanor Goodpasture King was born in Atlanta, GA on April 18, 1924 and passed away peacefully on January 26, 2015. Eleanor was the daughter of B. C. and Cleveland Goodpasture and wife of the late Myron L. King. She attended David Lipscomb College and George Peabody College. Survived by brother, Cliett (Sara) Goodpasture, daughter, Catherine (Douglas) Wieneke, son, Ron (Lynn) King and grandchildren, Michael, Lisa Lynn and David King. Eleanor was a long time member of Hillsboro Church of Christ. She was a gentle and kind lady who "fought a good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith." Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the Chapel at Hillsboro Church of Christ at two o’clock in the afternoon. Gathering of family and friends will begin at eleven o’clock in the morning until the service begins at two o’clock. Interment to take place following the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
