Mrs. Fitzgerald, age 91, was born in Woodbine. She was married to Joe Fitzgerald for over 50 years before his passing. She formally resided in Inglewood and most recently lived at The Waterford of Smyrna. She owned Ideal Vending with her husband Joe for many years. She was a long time member of the Lakeview Garden Club, Inglewood Home Demonstration Club, and Jackson Park Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Lula Gibbs; sisters, Lennis and Jenny; and brother, Lawrence. Survived by her son, Ron Fitzgerald; daughters, Melody (Roger) Brooks and Debbie (Doug) Reynolds; 7 grandchildren, Joe, Evan, Kristin, Zach, Austin, Hannah Katelin, and Lauren; and 9 great-grandchildren, Addyson, Victoria, Joel Thomas, Montgomery, Sawyer, Grace, Violet, Kate, and Emmy; many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from four o' clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at eleven-thirty in the morning on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, with visitation one hour prior.
