Donald Lee Johnson

Donald Lee Johnson, age 73, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Donald was born June 4, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Lee Roy and Eloise Leora Mitchell Johnson.

Don is survived his wife of 53 years, Janet Allison Johnson of Hendersonville; daughter, Dr. Jennifer Johnson of Nashville; sister, Cheryl Johnson Cunningham of Franklin; several nieces and nephews; aunt, Dorothy Clements; uncle, James A. Johnson; his precious pets, Nash and Louie.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from eleven in the morning until one o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, April 11, 2022 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Bryan officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family to serve as pallbearers.

Don was a graduate of John Overton High School and went on to graduate at Western Kentucky University. Don started work in the 1970's at Robert Orr Sysco. He later went to work at Kenneth O. Lester (Performance Food Group) where he retired. In his retirement, he loved to play golf, traveling, dancing, fishing, music, his family and his dogs.

A special thanks to the staff of Ascension Saint Thomas West who took excellent care of Don. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
