Charlotte (Brown) Jackson, 82, of Franklin, TN, passed away peacefully at Alive Hospice on Monday, February 19, 2024, after a brief illness. Charlotte was born on August 19, 1941, to Herbert and Florine Brown of Westmoreland, TN, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Jackson, to whom she was married for 50 years. She was the older sister of Deloris (Brown) Head of Clarksville, TN, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Lisa (Dan) Cooper and Alex Jackson, along with grandchildren, Heath Cooper, Carly Cooper, Walker Jackson, Sloan Jackson, and Scout Jackson. Additionally, she is survived by dearest nephews, Derrick Head and David Head who were like sons to her, and her sister-in-law, Joyce Jackson. Charlotte lived a long, full life with her faith and her family at the center. She was an unselfish caretaker to all as she cared for her parents in their waning years, then her husband as he battled leukemia, and her sister. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, vacationing at the beach, and was a voracious reader who enjoyed frequent visits to the library. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and she was a kind, giving person who put everyone’s needs above her own. Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home in Nashville will be handling the arrangements. Visitation was on Saturday, February 24, from 10:00-12:00 with a private graveside service following at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville, TN.
