Carolyn Sue (Duncan) Tynes

She was born on March 25, 1941 to the late Lee Duncan and Susie Burton Duncan. She was a perfect loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was soft spoken with kind, yet powerful words. Her talents were almost limitless. She was a mighty spiritual leader, teacher, artist, and an amazing cook. She was our beautiful little hummingbird, yet everyone’s rock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Houston Tynes and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Lauren Patton.

Carolyn is survived by her children Linda Clinch, Carrie Patton, and Christy Lankford;

Grandchildren, Samantha Keene, Emilie Nelson, Houston Clinch, Carolyn Hobbs, and Cali Clinch; and her great grandchildren, Isaac Keene, Jacob Keene, Sarah Elizabeth Keene, Noah Keene, Milo Nelson, Ellarose Nelson, Gracelynn Thomas, and Luke-Henry Hobbs.

A gathering and visitation with her family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from eleven o’clock in the morning until one o’clock in the afternoon at High Funeral Home, 101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110, with an immediate Graveside Service to follow at Bethany Church of Christ Cemetery, located on 5066 Old Nashville Hwy, McMinnville, TN 37110.
