Along with her parents, Mrs. Holzapfel was preceded in death by her husband Bud Holzapfel, daughter, Tammy Holzapfel; brother, Kim Layne and niece, Nikki Beadles.
Janiece is survived by her son, Jeffrey Holzapfel (Danielle); grandchildren, Katelyn Knowles (Erik), Evan Holzapfel (Chloe), Abbey Holzapfel, Cari Hollis (Bryan) and Tara Mourning (Mac); great-grandchildren, Ainslie, Everly, Bennett, Lylah, Easton, Ezra, Austin, Preston, Alyssa, Braylon, Kason, Colby, Jaxson and Emery; great-great-grandchild, Princeton; brother, Buddy Layne, sister, Anita Rotoni (Roger); brother-in-law, Nolan Holzapfel (Kathy); nieces and nephews, Jennifer Layne, Jason Layne, Amanda Horner, Miranda Layne, Christie Rotoni, Melina O’Connor, Daniel Rotoni and Matt Rotoni and several great nieces and nephews.
As a Nashville native, Janiece was a graduate of Cohn High School and member of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. With her flashy style, animal print was her clothing of choice, especially leopard. She had wicked since of humor and thrived in shock factors. She is described as a loud, sweet, crazy, funny, a firecracker and a big kid who was always the life of the party.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 5-8pm and on Monday, June 7, 2022 from 1-3:30pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Celebration of life service will follow on Monday at 3:30pm in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Bro. Steve Moore officiating.
