Bonnie Jean Robinson, age 76, passed away on August 9, 2022. She is preceded in death by her father, Wilton “Cotton” Thompson, sister, Faye Furlow, nephews, Wilton Thompson, Jr. and Ricky Lowe, Jr. She is survived by her mother, Lottie Barnes, son, Mike (Rodonna) Robinson, daughter, Penny (Rusty) Butler, sister, Janice "Sissy" (John) Bowlin, brother, Wilton (Vickie) Thompson, grandchildren, Gracie Butler, Nathan Butler, Emma Butler, nieces and nephews, Chris (Stephanie) Lowe, Stephanie (Ricky) Bost, Tracy (Glen) Crawford and Holly (Matt) Shoemaker.
Bonnie was an outgoing person who worked at Valu-Plus, Turrentine Salvage Co, Dollar General, and cleaned homes for a living, she was well known in the Woodbine community. She loved her grandchildren and her grand dog Cotton. She also loved her church where she attended Music City Assembly of God and later in life Woodbine Baptist. She enjoyed going to visit where she was born and raised in Reece Hollow in Smith County. She also enjoyed working in her flowers, going to auctions, yard sales, walking, going for rides, and attending car shows with Mike where she would take care of all the setups and displays.
Visitation will be held on Monday August 15, 2022 from 2-8 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 10-11 AM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Celebration of Life service will be on Tuesday at 11 AM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Michael Robinson, Rusty Butler, Nathan Butler, Chris Lowe, Claude Burton and Terry Bolton will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Metro Nashville Fire Department
