Betty Ann Nelms, age 91 passed away on June 25, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Nelms and her granddaughter, Nisa. She is survived by her children, Darden (Tricia) Nelms, Karen (Mike) Rohling, Michael (Chandra) Nelms, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and extended family and special friends at St. Ann Catholic Church.
Betty worked for many years with Metro School Mothers Patrol.
Visitation will be on Thursday June 30, 2022 from 10-1 in Breen Hall at St. Ann Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 PM at St. Ann Catholic Church by Rev. Hung Pham 5101 Charlotte Pike. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
Active Pallbearers: Michael Rohling, Jr., John Rohling, Drew Schwetschenau, Mustafa Hmood, Lawrence Verchota and Dennis Arnold.
The family would like to recognize the compassionate care provided by Alive Hospice.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann School Tuition Assistance Fund or St. Jude.
