Benjamin Carter Hall, age 87, passed away on February 18, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ruth Carter Hall. Survived by his loving cousins, Lucia Grimes and Kay (Bobby) Reynolds. Mr. Hall was born and raised in Washington, D.C. He served in the Army during WWII as a 1st Sergeant. He served in the D.C. National Guard for 12 years. After completing his assigned duties with the military, he started his career as an Electronic Development Technician with Naval Research Laboratories. Ben was a member of the St. Paul Community Church in Nashville, TN. He was also a member of the Kiwanis of West Nashville, the American Legion Post 5, and a Mason. A graveside service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 22nd of February, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Don Logan. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers are members of the American Legion Post 5. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Tennessee Fisher House Foundation, Inc. at P.O. Box 774 Brentwood, TN 37024 or to the charity of your choice.
