Barbara Fay Rottero, age 86 passed away peacefully on Wednesday Nov. 22, 2017.Born in Nashville on June 23, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Eugene Rottero, her parents Thomas & Maude Lambert, Brothers Wayne, Carl, Bobby, and sisters, Polly, & Dimple. She is survived by her sister Jean DeCamp, children, Anthony Rottero, Lisa Greene (Sam), Mark (Tess), Andy, & Pat; seven grandchildren, & three great-grandchildren. She volunteered at the Ladies of Charity, & sang in the choir at St. Ignatius Catholic Church for many years. She graduated from Howard High School in 1949 where she was voted Most Popular and served as Vice-President of her Senior Class. Barbara was hostess of many family birthdays & holiday gatherings where she was famous for her sweet potato casserole. She was a sweet southern lady who will be missed by all who knew her. The family thanks her caregivers from Stay At Home Services & the Alive Hospice staff for their thoughtful care. Visitation Sunday November 26, 2017 from two o’ clock in the afternoon until eight in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
