Anne is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 50 years, Joseph Verbosky, son Richard Verbosky, sisters, Doris Herrlinger and Helen Matey, brother, Junior and the family dog, Brewster.
She leaves behind her daughter, Susan Cavender, her dearest friend, K Sue Gunter, her friend and medical consultant, Marie Coz, her friend and partner in Christmas tree trimming, Robert Sanders, her friend and spiritual adviser, Betty Devine and her favorite beach friend, Dan Ashcroft as well as many relatives and close friends.
Anne was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed the wildflowers in the woods behind her house. She was fluent in the common as well as the botanical names of many plants and cultivated many of them on her patio.
Anne had a huge heart and an even bigger personality and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life is planned for 2023.
