Anne Green Townes

Anne Green Townes, age 91, passed away on March 27, 2019 in Franklin, TN. She was born on April 23, 1927 to the late James Henry and Agnes Hunter Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James B. “Hap” Townes; brothers, Cliff Green, John L. Green & Jerry Bowen. She is survived by her son, Gerald R. “Jerry” Cunningham of Brentwood, TN; sister-in-law’s, Barbara Bowen of Cedartown, Georgia & Linda Green of Atlanta, Georgia. A visitation will be from 10a-11a with a Memorial Service to follow Wednesday, April 4, 2019 at the Brentwood United Methodist Church, 309 Franklin Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027. She will be interred at the Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery.
