Born in Nashville, TN on Nov. 2, 1926, Anna Jewell Patterson Fragasse slipped peacefully into God's heavenly embrace on Aug. 18, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bruno; her parents, Evie and Forest Patterson; and her sister, Dorothy Cortner Boone.
Jewell is survived by her loving daughter, Becky, of Nashville, and many nieces and nephews. She was the last living of 24 members in her generation in the Fragasse family, and possibly the longest living in one house, for 69 years, in her neighborhood, which was the 7th house built in Crieve Hall.
Jewell was always a happy housewife. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafts, reading, and caring for her family and friends.
Special thanks are extended to Bethany Rehab Center for Healing and to Dr. Margaret Sanders for their special care over the years. And extra special thanks to Martha Moore with Willowbrook Hospice for her extraordinary care since July, 2021. Memorials may be made to Crievewood United Methodist Church, and sent to 451 Hogan Rd., Nashville, TN 37220. A private burial will be held September 17th, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Nashville.
