Ann Howe was an ‘allround best girl’, established by the award at Oak Hill Day Camp in 1954. In equal parts a lover of bright colors and a Swan Ball Debutante, she was filled with a quiet sense of riotous fun, magnified by her inner grace. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother and wife, and her quick smiles and efficiency will be missed by those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann Howe Billings and Dr. F. Tremaine Billings, Jr.; and her son, Coleman Billings Harwell. She is survived by her husband, Robert Candee Hilton; her son, Kirk LeMoyne Billings Harwell; and her brothers, Dr. Frederic Tremaine Billings III and John Howe Billings, and their families. Visitation will be this Saturday at Noon and Service at 1:30pm, St. Georges Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice of Nashville, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville TN 37209; or the charity of your choice.
