Shane Ryan Stewart

Shane Ryan Stewart, Indianapolis, passed in peace Feb. 24 at the age of 26. Shane is survived by his father, John Stewart; mother, Mona Wallace; brother Chad Stewart and sister Kara Stewart all of Indianapolis; grandmothers, Shirley Stewart of Gosport and Gertrude Wallace of Indianapolis. He is also survived by another set of “parents”, Dan and Pam Raisor of Nashville, his fiancée, Megan Tansy of Indianapolis and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Shane was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rendell Wallace and John Stewart.
Shane was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed camping and wildlife. He had a deep compassion for helping animals. He was a graduate of Brown County High School. He will be lovingly remembered for his hilarious sense of humor and warm caring heart.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday February 29, 2012 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 N., Nashville. Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. A Celebration of Shane’s Life will be immediately following the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home.
