Janice Joy Cassiday, 83, of Nashville, IN went to that place the Lord prepared for her on Monday, April 15, 2019. There she was reunited with her husband of 52 years, Dale, who preceded her in death. As a pair they loved much, laughed much, and took many adventures all over the world. As an English teacher she impacted the lives of many young persons. As a theatre director she staged countless numbers of dramas and musicals, and was influential in building the Brown County Auditorium. She and her family were founding members of the Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship. She was also a founding member of the Brown County Community Theatre, a member of Brown County Rotary, and the PSIOTs.
Janice is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Meghan, Liam, and Aislinn, as well as her dear children Sean (Anna) Cassiday and Jacqueline (Allen) Colwell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship, officiated by Dr. Scott Seay. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2019 at Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship, 602 State Road 135 North in Nashville, IN.
