Janice Mae (Rockwood) Burrier, 68, of Brown County passed away July 26 in Columbus, IN. She was born October 25, 1945 in Chicago, IL the daughter of George & Julia (Hayes) Rockwood. They preceded her in death.
Janice married Dale G. Burrier August 21, 1965 in Michigan City, IN. She was an avid reader, gardener & active member of her church, St. Agnes Catholic Church, Nashville.
A Funeral Mass will be offered Friday, August 1 at 12:00 noon at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1008 McClary Road, Nashville, IN. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Weeping Willow Cemetery, Bean Blossom, IN. Father Eric Augenstein will officiate.
Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth (Bobby) Meek, Cataract, IN & Rebecca (David) Hutchins, Burns Harbor, IN, grandchildren, Amanda Wehrle, Valparaiso, IN, Austin (Shelby) Hertzberg, Cherry Point, NC, & Dylan Hertzberg, LaPorte, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Julia (Hayes) Rockwood, her husband, Dale George Burrier, & her daughter, Bridget Hertzberg.
