I had the pleasure of driving Ryan to and from school this year. Ryan had a big smile on his face every time we picked him up. Such a sweet kid. He would leave his hat on the bus floor every day for me to find. I will miss having him on my bus. May you rest easy Ryan.

I first met Ryan when he was in 4th grade and have always loved him. We had a blast working together on fun activities while also practicing his vision skills. Because of Ryan's loving and dedicated parents, he flourished during remote learning and brought his newfound skills back to school with him. It was always obvious how much Ryan was loved and cherished by his family, and he knew it. I will miss him tremendously, especially the smile he always gave me when I walked into the room. Rest in peace, sweet Ryan.

I remember first meeting Ryan during summer of 2020 on zoom because we were still remote. He was so enthusiastic and his family was so involved and amazing. A couple years later he started at the highschool. While I was usually busy with another student, any time I’d visit Ryan’s classroom he would put a smile on my face and I had to go say hi to him. He was so incredibly sweet and lovable. I loved bumping into him in the hallways when he’d be on a walk with his para.   I know this must be a devastating loss to so many. My heart goes out to Ryan’s family, loved ones and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting & working with Ryan. I am thinking of you all and sending you strength during this unimaginably difficult time. May he rest in peace 💙 

I remember Ryan from Amherst St School!  I would occasionally help out with him.  He was so sweet and innocent!  😇 My heart goes out to his family and friends!  👼 

I enjoyed working with Ryan while he attended FMS. Ryan always had a way of bringing joy to our classroom. His smile lit up the room and his genuine happiness was contagious. I will always remember his kind soul. He will be missed by so many.

I had the pleasure of working with Ryan while he attended FMS. Ryan's smile lit up the room and was so inviting. I will always remember his carefree and joyful personality. 

Ryan found joy and deep happiness in the simplest of life’s pleasures- tossing a hoop into the air, catching a ball, making ribbons dance, and holding your hand. Ryan’s family exemplified pure selflessness, devotion, and of the power of unconditional love.  In particular, I recall his mother and father’s dedication to our remote learning Zoom sessions. During our movement groups, Ryan was our star student, always eager to do a “spotlight dance " with his father. Ryan was truly in the moment, in every moment, noticing the smallest of things…with that amazing smile….he will be so very missed. 

I have worked along side Ryan since he was in 6th grade, and lucky enough to have spent more time with him by moving up to NHSS.  He was such a light, and his smile was infectious and heart warming.  He made us smile, he made us laugh,  and he was so very loved at both FMS and NHSS - and I’m sure by anyone else’s path he crossed.  He was a very influential person to so many of us - and will be sorely missed.  He will always be remembered and I’m so very grateful I had the opportunity to have known him.

Ryan had the best smile and brought so much joy to our classroom while at Fairgrounds Middle School. He was always up for an adventure. He continued to bring joy during all those Zoom hours while we were learning remotely.  Ryan and his parents were always willing participants even when we were creating messes at home.  Some of my favorite memories are from that time.
 When Ryan was a student at FMS, he helped create and deliver kindness rocks around the school each week.  In his memory we will begin delivering "Ryan's Kindness Rocks" around our building again. Our condolences to Ryan's family and friends. May Ryan rest in peace.

It was a blessing to be Ryan’s teacher. Ryan was an integral member of our classroom and we love him dearly. All of us at NHSS will never forget him and the happiness he brought to all of our lives. My name is Bailey and I have been a nurse in Ryan’s class at school for many years. I am his classmates nurse, so I have been in Ryan’s classroom since 3rd grade! It was a pleasure watching Ryan grow into the happy boy that he was. Always on the go and he always brightened our classroom. We will miss him so very much, and I am so very sorry to say goodbye so soon. I hope you find some comfort knowing he is at rest, and I hope you know  that you were wonderful parents to Ryan and provided him with all the love he needed. Much love, you’re in my thoughts.
