13 February 2021 after a year-and-a-half-long battle with pancreatic cancer. The son of the
late Wellesley and Helen Irwin, he was born on 20 May 1955 in Medford, MA and grew up in
Woburn, MA. He resided in Nashua for more than three decades.
Mr. Irwin was a longtime adherent of the Baha'i Faith, which emphasizes the oneness of God
and the unity of all human beings regardless of race, nationality, or religion. As a young man, he
served the Baha'is of the Navajo Nation Reservation and the community of Mexico City, among
others. For several decades, he served on the Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of
Nashua, NH.
Mr. Irwin worked as a mechanical engineer with a specialty in fluidics. His work included
intelligent process systems design, and electromechanical fluid control products for medical
devices and analytical chemistry applications.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alhan; son Menar and his wife Amanda; daughter Zina and
her husband Eamon and their three children, Kenz, Aya and Jude; sister Carol and her husband
Jeff; sister-in-law Kathy; and many other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his
younger brother Rick.
