I still have Melissa's photo at my desk, and remember her regularly.  She came to mind just the other morning, as I was tending to my horses, and I suddenly recalled her, and what an animal lover she was.   I miss her, and hope her family knows how many were  touched by her and still think of her.  God Bless.  Didier M.

I still look at Melissa's photo from last year's announcement, and think of her, and our many moments together as work colleagues, with great fondness.  I pray for comfort for her family.

 I had the great honor of working with Melissa as she became a psychotherapist. A kind and gentle person, Melissa was able to guide her clients to meet their life goals. She treated all with great respect and consideration and helped them understand how important they were to their community.  Years later when her former clients return to say hello , they ask about Melissa. .  I have been very honored to witness this continuing connection with Melissa with whom  they credit their positive connection with others especially family and friends. She is a great loss to our community and I grieve with all who knew Melissa   

Karen she is doing her work up in Heaven but she is always in our hearts. She made everyone happy. I was so honored when she asked me to be her Godmother and again to be her bridesmaid. She held a very deep spot in my heart from the day she was born. I am here to try and comfort you any way I can and only a phone call away. Love you Karen.

We were not only neighbors,  or co-workers, but friends. I remember walking the pond, sharing laughs, and driving 2 hours up into the boons together. She lived for the children and families that she worked with. Although we hadn’t worked side by side in 5 years, those memories are still fresh.  Melissa’s impact on co-workers, friends, family, and the families she cared so deeply for is indescribable. No matter the situation, she had her heals and nails done READY for anything that came her way. She was graceful, full of life, and completely down to earth. <3 I’ll remember you saying, “Hey Court, what’s up...lets walk”! 

I had the privilege of supervising Melissa for several years at DCF. She was someone who set very high standards for herself and was wholeheartedly dedicated to helping the children and families she worked with. Although it’s been 4 years since I worked directly with Melissa, I can still hear her saying “hey boss!” “whatever you need boss!”; always with a smile on her face. She will be sorely missed and her passing is a tremendous loss to DCF and the community where she positively impacted so many lives.

It's been several years since I've worked with Melissa but I enjoyed every minute with her. She was amazingly compassionate and so dedicated to helping others. My heart is heavy with grief. Melissa is  an amazing person and will be missed by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. 

I was around  Melissa and her family for about 5 years. What struck me then as it does now is how she was a strong,caring woman with great resolve.  I witnessed many times how she took care of her mother, sister and brother. If she could help,  she would.

 I remember working with Melissa in the Nashua office.  Sorry to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace. 

I worked with Melissa for 3 years at DCYF. She was a pillar in the community and a wonderful coworker. She always encouraged me as a new younger work and was there for help and guidance whenever needed. Most importantly she was a wonderful person and friend. We frequently shared stories on our of love of dogs . I am happy she is finally at peace but she certainly will forever be missed and remain close to our hearts.

I had the pleasure of  knowing Melissa in her capacity as social worker  for many years. Always focusing on the best interests of the vulnerable children DCYF worked with in New Hampshire. My deepest condolences to the family and all of her Co-workers. RIP Melissa.

Melissa’s commitment to the vulnerable children in her DCYF  work was absolute and inspiring.   Having worked with her for over ten years her generosity and good humor was a constant.    My sincere condolences to her family.

I was lucky to work with Melissa. she always put others before her self. Melissa was there for me when it felt like I was alone. I can honestly say I don’t think I would be the worker I am today if I did not have the guidance of Melissa. She was one of those people you meet in your life that you never want to let go. I am thankful for my time with her and the privilege of knowing her. All I can say is thank you Melissa  for the hugs and encouraging words and support even when you were battling your hardest battle you still worried about everyone around you. 

Melissa was a tremendous mentor and friend. She took the time and showed a tremendous amount of patience with showing me how to become a CPSW. She was a very caring and loving individual. She will be missed by many.

So sad.  I worked with Melissa for 10 years at dcyf.  She had a heart of gold and will be missed.  Bless you and rest in peace.

I remember working with Melissa at the old Nashua office together.   We never laughed so hard about me learning about how to navigate the tree streets.  I will miss her wit and sense of humor.  Prayers and thoughts with you and your family.  You will be missed. 

I only worked one case with Melissa, but she made an indelible impression on me.  The last time I saw her, she was looking forward to going back out in the field.  So very sad to hear the news of her passing.  My deepest sympathies to all of her loved ones.

I’ve known Melissa for over 12 years. She was a coworker and friend and I’ll never forget our shopping trips, dinners out and our last lunch together. Melissa, you fought so freaking hard. Despite everything in your life, you had a passion for serving others. The community is a little bit darker now that you’re gone. 

I had the privilege of working with Melissa over 17 years, and watched her effect many lives for the better. Always enjoyed hearing of her Black Friday Christmas shopping trips, carried out with military-like precision !
