Dianne Stephanie Manias, aged 65, of Concord, NH passed away peacefully on September 17th, 2024. She was born September 14th, 1959 in Medford, MA. Dianne was known for her kind heart and deep love for her friends and family.
Dianne graduated from Concord High School in 1977. She remained connected with many of her classmates throughout the years and always looked forward to attending the reunions. She acted in the production of Li’l Abner, an experience she cherished, as well as singing in the choir.
Dianne loved working in retail sales and customer service, with her last job as a cashier for Market Basket. Her smile, warm personality and genuine care for people made her beloved by both customers and coworkers.
In her spare time, Dianne enjoyed putting together puzzles, playing card games with her kids, solving sudoku books, diamond art and watching soap operas. She loved being out in the sun, deep sea fishing and spending time with her grandkids. Dianne also loved volunteering with her sister Kat at Lend Me A Theater. She had a special love for celebrating holidays. When she was younger, she enjoyed spending time on the farm, hunting and fishing with her brother Shawn, and making ceramics with her stepmother. Dianne also had a love for Greek food and going to St. George’s Glendi in Manchester with her sister. She loved her daily phone conversations with her daughter and always attended her grandkids school and sporting events
Dianne was predeceased by her parents, Syliane Hebert (Salvadore) and Constantinos Manias, her brother Shawn Manias, as well as her son, Christopher Peabody. She is survived by her stepmother Ann Davis, sisters Thia Dumensil and Kat Abdelwahid (Manias), brother Louis Manias, and her children: Kathryn Manias, Krystin Scardina, Kyle Kananen, Joshua Manias, her son-in-law Michael Scardina and her cherished grandchildren Aria, Gabriel and Grayson. She also leaves behind her nieces Samantha Dumensil, Halah Abdelwahid, along with many extended bonus children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held in Dianne’s honor on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 from 12-4pm at 8 Wildflower Dr, Concord, NH. We ask that you keep it casual and wear blue as it was her favorite color. All who knew and loved Dianne are welcome to come pay their respects as we celebrate her memory and the lasting impact she had on those around her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to hug your loved ones a little tighter, as Dianne always reminded us that family was the most important thing in life. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
