A lifelong resident of Nashua, Cynthia was educated in the Nashua School System. In 1977, she graduated from Plymouth State College with a bachelor’s degree in Education and Art. She was the proud owner of the Casual Cat Picture Framing & Gift Shop in Amherst which opened in 1987. Cindy was one of the first members of the Professional Picture Framers Association. A cat mom to many cats over the years, she was an important supporter of the Kitty Angels organization and a donator to The Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was known as an amazing cook and artist, who loved to teach art classes and cooking for her friends. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling with her close friends, vacations in Jamaica and most importantly spending time in her business.
She is survived by her step children Casey Lavoie, Robert Lownie III, and Scott Lownie; and many loving cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her brother Edward Doyle.
Memorial donations in Cynthia's honor may be made to The Community Hospice House in Merrimack.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 25, 2022 from 12:00-3:00pm at Alpine Grove located at 19 S. Depot Rd Ste 111A, Hollis, NH 03049.
