I knew Mike back in high school. Far and away, he was the most original thinker from those days. I remember him as a thoroughly decent person, a genuinely good guy. From taking rides in his Karmann Ghia, from the nightly bull secessions at his house on Upton Road, from witnessing him cutting his grass grown in a paper cup at EKU, thoughts of Mike bring back memories of a guy who made the world a better place just by being in it. It's a lesser place for sure now that he's gone.
