How very sad to hear of Paula's passing at such a young age. It took our breath away. We had the priviledge to know Paula as a most dependable person with a wide variety of skills knowledge, always willing to help out someone else. We admired Paula for her independent spirit and the courage she showed on a daily basis. She strived to be strong and fearless at all times. Paula worked so very hard, all to make sure that her children would know a better life. She adored them, they were the purpose of her life and a justified reason for her struggles and hardships. Oh Paula, how we would have wished a more relaxed and peaceful life for you, to be able to enjoy your adult children and the fruits of all your physical efforts and emotional sacrifices for many years to come.  Know that you did more than anyone could have expected of you.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Paula's passing.  Paula was such a hard worker, dependable, kind and good-willed.  her children were always on her mind.  she constantly talked about them, how much she loved them, missed them, worried about them.  They were clearly her motivation to work as hard as she did for so long--by herself, alone without a family, in a foreign country.  She often said that her children were the only reason she was here in Florida--to be able to support them and afford them a better life.  She proudly showed photos of them as they grew from children to young adults.  She often cried when they were ill or when there were problems at home.  A heavy burden for someone, all by herself, so far away.  Apart from hard-working, she was a most courageous woman--she had to be!  It must have been an extremely emotionally harsh environment for her, but she never wanted to be felt sorry for and tried to cope with all of it her way.

it is so sad that she passes at such a young age, never having the chance to finally rest from her work, to at least have some time to enjoy a few moments of peace and quiet she so deserved.  Paula was a lovely, loving and lonely young lady and I wish her peace at last.
