Lillian Louise Kiefer, 88, of McClure passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 20, 2015 at her home. Lillian was born on May 4, 1926 to Elmer E. and Helen I (Keinath) Russell. She was a graduate of Napoleon High School. She married the love of her life, the late Thomas C. Kiefer, on October 3, 1947. She enjoyed spending time with her family and being artistic. She loved being creative and enjoyed decorating cakes, doing ceramics and even helped remodel her own home.
Lillian is survived by her children: Tom (Sue) Kiefer, Teresa McLove, Cheryl Kiefer and Deanna (Bob) Leady, special family friend, Patricia Flanagan. Her grandchildren: Becky (Chuck) Poorman, Tom (Shannon) Kiefer, Jaime (Bill) Cross, Merl Jr. (Jamie) Creps and Jeremy (Tina) Creps. She was also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Helen Russell, her husband Thomas Kiefer and brothers: Elmer, Burdette and Leo Russell.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio with funeral services to follow. Pastor Chad Roper officiating. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
