Susan Kay Hunter

She is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Bobby Lee Hunter, daughters, Debbie Collier (Bud), Cathrine Hunter, Jenny Holcomb, step-daughter, April Hunter, and step-son, Bobby Jr., sister Lynn Head (Steve), and her 3 four legged children, Sassy, Bugs and Callee, niece, Amber Maguire (Brett), nephew, Dustin Lyle (Krissy), grandson, Brandon Collier (Lee Ann), granddaughter, Ashley Holcomb, great granddaughter, Hannashae Holcomb, and great nephews, Austin Ramsey and Ayden Maguire. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Davis, and her mother, Thelma Clifford.

She was a graduate of Lamar High School, the University of North Point, and the University of Northern Colorado. She was in the Navy for 2 years as a hospital corpsman. She worked for NCH/DSI Labs for over 32 years and retired in 2007.

She passed away in her home in Sebring, FL with her family and friends at her bedside. She loved to golf, watch FSU games, fish and listen to her man, Tim McGraw. She loved her family reunions and her family gatherings.

She was a kind, compassionate, and loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She always put the needs of others before her own. She will be greatly missed. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!

The viewing will be held on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, from 5 to 8pm for family and friends, and the funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at 1pm at Hodges Funeral Home located at 111th Avenue North, Naples, FL.
