She was born in Decatur, GA. Her family later moved to Fort Lauderdale where she graduated from McArthur High School. She attended the University Of Miami for one year, then Joined the US Navy. She was married to her husband, Gary Young, for 52 years. The family includes daughter, Lori and son's Wayde, Sean and Kenneth.
Sandy was a retired supervisor from Collier County Clerk of the Courts office. Aside from her family, and making people with happy with her sparkling personality, her passion was growing, orchids, the Dallas Cowboys, and her many friends. Her siblings were James Warren, Brenda Mashburn, Bud McCurdy, Teresa Green, Joel McCurdy, Mike Holland, Patrick Holland, Kathy Jardone and Craig Holland. A celebration of life will be held Wed, Dec 14th, from 5 to 7 PM, at The Shores Clubhouse, 7845 Berkshire Pine Dr, Naples, FL.
